Adamovych Serhiy Vasyliovych as the head of the department provides the work of the department on the organization of the educational process, scientific and educational-methodical work; organizes and manages research work according to the profile of the department, attracts students to research; takes the necessary measures to coordinate work with other departments and research departments of the university, cooperation with practical institutions, related departments of other educational institutions, in particular: with the Department of State History, Law, Political and Legal Students of the Faculty of Law of Lviv National University named after Ivan Franko and research institutions ; controls the development of educational programs and other educational and methodical materials on disciplines assigned to the department; carries out quality control of carrying out by teachers of chair of educational employment, final control.

Place of work, professional experience

She began her career in 1968 as the head of the Stryi shoe production department.

From 1984 to 1998 she worked in the Stryi City Executive Committee as the head of the organizational department.

From April 1998 she worked as a teacher of law at the Faculty of Law of Lviv State University named after Ivan Franko.

Since September 1999 he has been working as an associate professor at the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian University.

Since 2006 – Head of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of the Law Institute of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University.

The direction of scientific activity is the history of the state and law in the western Ukrainian lands.

Organizational activities

In accordance with his functional responsibilities, he provides semester exams in “History of State and Law of Ukraine”. He also performs assignments as a member of the scientific and methodological council of the institute, the Academic Council of the institute, the Academic Council of the university.
